Hi, I have a Asus F555U laptop that I am trying to downgrade to Windows 7 from Windows 10. The reason is simply that the two most important programs that our company uses both doesn't support windows 10 yet.

So far I've gotten everything to work except for the touchpad. I must have downloaded about 15 different versions of the Asus branded Elantech touchpad driver. Every time I get the same error: 'No Elantech touchpad detected' or something similar and the the install rolls back. I've checked, on the touchpad chip it says 'Elan' so it is definitely an Elentech toucpad.

I even put the windows 10 HDD back to check that the touchpad is indeed working and it works fine in windows 10, so no hardware issue. Does anyone have any advice?
