Fumefx For 3ds Max 2009 32 Bit Free Download Average ratng: 8,1/10 2098votes

It crashes on frame 41 everytime when I'm simulating post, using 2011 and FFX 2.1c. All the cache files for Default and WT works fine when I play them. The Post cache that do get processed works fine in playback as well. I'll try to do a lower detail sim and I'll try it in 2010 as well. Edit: Tried it in 2010.

Same result, crash at frame 41. Edit2: Tried re-timing from default cache and that worked fine. I'm a bit lost here.

I mean; it should be possible to do quite highres sims with 12gb ram should it not? Thanks for the help Krueger:) I have already posted this problem at Sitni Sati but as it seems to take a while for them to respond I posted it here as well (and got a respond almost instantly:) ). I'll add your comment about WT and interpolating 100 mb files and post back here if and when a solution presents it self. Digital Literacy Productivity Programs Answers To Math. A bit strange though, if retiming is limited by such a low treshold for interpolation don't you think?

I mean, FFX is used in production and they would deal with much bigger cache files than the ones I have. Thanks again for your help. My renders still crash even when simulation with low settings in default and wavelet and then post retiming. Sitni Sati does not respond to questions about this. I posted questions there about 2 months ago conserning this issue and still no answer. Does anybody else have suggestions as to why this always happens when retiming in fumeFX? I have 12gb ram and are not using anywhere near half of this when rendering.

I have the latest Fume 3.1. I am rendering at lowres. With output 480 X 320. This is getting so frustrating to work with that if a solution does not present itself then it's time to abandon the software and go buy Phoenix FD instead. Sorry, had to let of some steam. Any help is appreciated!

I'm sorry, it seems I have messed things up a bit: The preview I made that looked good, was from wavelet files. When making preview from post (retime) files it's back to stop motion animation again, just like the renders. I see now that there's 3 frames in post where the smoke dissapears with the exception of a tiny dot of smoke by the emitter. The 3 frames are 87-89 which is where my renders crash. I have checked wavelet preview again and can not find any frames where there's just a tiny dot of smoke and there's no frames missing.

I'll try to run the simulation again from Default through Wavelet too Post to see if it helps.
