I Googled both products to death. I came to the forum to see how either works with Logic Users running 10.4.9 Looks like I am gonna go with Super Duper. Downloaded free version and looked around pdf. For hellery I emailed a technical question to support. I got a personalized answer back within 2 minutes. I thought that customer service was above and beyond.

By the time 10.4.2 rolled around (I had been using tiger for over a year) I was so used to launching it via the terminal that I guess I did not read the press release where they mentioned that it was fixed. There was no update to ccc so unless you were subscribed to a list or paying close attention to the internets there is no way to know it started launching normally. Works great for what it does. I just have issues with some of it's features. Some of the scripts and user scripts don't work as they should. I have been in conversation with the developer and manual author.
I hope to see some new features soon. I have to say that before SD, CCC has saved my butt many times, and so has Apple Disk Utility for that matter.
SD just makes it easier to keep up. I just don't like that you can do differentials. I don't trust Apple's backup except with my personal prefs backup to.mac.
